Introduction
The Alfa Laval ALDEC G2-70 is the second-generation ALDEC G2 series horizontal screw decanter centrifuge, which focuses on continuous solid-liquid separation. Compared with its predecessor, it has significantly improved in processing efficiency, energy consumption and maintenance convenience. It is suitable for high-solid-content suspensions such as municipal sludge and industrial wastewater.

Working Principle
Feeding: The suspension enters the drum and rotates at high speed with the drum, forming a centrifugal force field.
Separation: Under approximately 2800 G of centrifugal force, the solid phase is thrown to the drum wall to form a deposit layer, while the liquid phase remains in the central area.
Discharge: The screw pushes the solid phase to the conical end discharge port at a speed slightly lower than that of the drum; the liquid phase continuously overflows from the cylindrical end overflow port, achieving continuous solid-liquid separation.
Core advantages
- Lower energy consumption: Approximately 30% more energy-efficient compared to the previous generation, suitable for various working conditions.
- User-friendly maintenance: EasyLift hood, FlightGuard wear-resistant protection, extending maintenance intervals.
- Intelligent control: PLC system can adjust speed, differential speed, and feeding volume, supporting CIP online cleaning.
Maintenance Cycle (Classification) | Maintenance Level Cycle (Whichever Comes First) | Core Content |
Daily | Daily / Per Shift | Vibration, temperature and leakage inspection; wash the rotating drum / discharge port |
Weekly / Monthly | Weekly / Monthly / Every Month | Clean residual materials and check oil level; lubricate main bearing every 300 h |
Half-Yearly | 6 Months / 1000 h | Adjust belt tension, check gearbox oil and tighten circumferential bolts |
Annual | 1 Year / 4000 h | Inspect rotating drum / screw wear, seals and perform dynamic balancing |
Medium Overhaul | 2 Years / 8000 h | Replace main bearing, screw bearing and seals |
In-Depth Overhaul | 3 Years / 12000 h | Complete machine disassembly and inspection, replace rotating drum bolts and repair screw |
Belt Replacement | 16000 h | Mandatory replacement of motor V-belt |
